Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the history/bookmarks sidebar
2. Load a page

Expected Results: Status loading overlay appears over the bottom left of the actual content window 

Actual Results: Status loading overlay appears over the open sidebars

Just a note: a fix isn't as easy as setting |position: relative| because we'll need to avoid causing something like bug 637649.

We cant have this as well as bug 632626 (Show status message popup on top of the add-on bar if enabled). Need to decide which we want and WONTFIX the other.

Attachment: status panel overlapping the Style sidebar with Inspector open

A similar problem occurs when the Inspector tool is used and the status overlay is being displayed on the right (because the mouse is located near the bottom left of the page). In this case the status overlay appears across the Style panel that Inspector has placed to the right of the main page area (although it has been moved up to avoid the HTML source panel at the bottom).
