(Whiteboard: u=panda c=it p=1 [reit])

Once a stable, usable image is created by ateam, relops will need to reimage the pandas in the prototype chassis in scl1. This work is blocked by bug 769428.

we have an almost stable image. I can run all types of tests, but I get OOM errors quite often. Also these run slow, so I need to look into how to speed up the panda, most likely file system related.

Here is an image which is useful for testing and smoketests: http://people.mozilla.org/~jmaher/panda/panda_2gb.img.bz2

The bz2 seems to be corrupt. Could the upload have not completed?
Can you check the sha1 hash on your bz2 image?

This is the sha1 I get:
7c6c881ed2422f587de178ad35647cafc5e95730 panda_2gb.img.bz2

And when tested, bzip2 returns:
    [1262: huff+mtf rt+rld]
    [1263: huff+mtf rt+rld]
    [1264: huff+mtf file ends unexpectedly

Which seems to indicate it got cut off in uploading. I downloaded it twice. Once on a linux box and again on my Mac with the same results.
reuploaded to the same link, this is looking good now:
jmaher@jmaher-MacBookPro:~$ shasum ~/Downloads/panda_2gb.img.bz2

FYI the foopies have been setup in the blocking bug 790339.
I think this is the bug to block on before doing a staging run on releng systems (I think).
According to Melissa I got this wrong.

I should have blocked on bug 789516.
No longer blocks: 790339
This was handled in another chassis.
