vCard 3.0 is a standard since 1998 and is still not supported in Thunderbird, which cause different issues like: - vCard from smartphone or other mail application which use vCard 3.0 (like Gmail) cannot be imported in Thunderbird (bug 514375) - personal vCard added to outgoing messages is not compatible with some mail application (like Gmail) (Bug 782147) - photo from vCard are not displayed nor imported in Thunderbird (bug 664424) So this is a meta bug that will try to care about all these issue, as Bug 221991 has done for vCard2.1 support.
