(New here >) Is there any effort to have ui/* support? Specifically ui/button/* in the "..." section.

I noticed some chatter from addon developers saying these would be really helpful on Android. This might open up a can of worms if there's UX tie-in, but strictly from an API perspective there doesn't seem to be any effort to support these.

@see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/SDK/Tutorials/Mobile_development#Module_Compatibility

Good point, we should start trying to get the ui apis to support android. Perhaps we can start with opening some bugs?

I imagine we'll have to open some platform bugs so the sooner the better.

It's still not clear the future of the Mobile Support and Add-on SDK; so no further development is planned at the moment.
Jeff, Mossop, any news about that? As we said, if we decided to fully support Mobile, we definitely need an infrastructure for automated tests, that's mandatory.

You're right, we do need automated testing if we're going to support Android at all well. I have no news on that at this point.
