+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #737880 +++
The "unseen" status and blue color of a folder with new messages in it is sometimes lost after clicking on a different folder. This is the blue highlight on a folder (on Windows) that indicates you haven't looked at the folder since the last new message was added to it. Not having this indicator makes it hard to tell where the unseen messages are.
In my case a typical example is 3 imap folders A, B, C colored blue with new messages, where A=Inbox and messages are filtered to B=moz and C=gsfn
If I change from some random folder D to folder A, I lose the bold color on B, but blue is not lost on C. In other words, not all folders lose the blue.
Reproducible: no
Always happens: no

"Moving from folder D to A" usually produces "mouseover at folder C" and "mouseover at folder B". If outdated-msf condition exists in X.msf/X, exception is usually reported to Error Console upon mouseover at folder X, and rebuild-index(Repair Folder) is invoked by explicit folder open(click of folder X at folder pane). In both cases, indicator of "new mail exists" of folder X is lost.
See bug 495760 and bug 261419 for phenomenon with "filter copy/move when outdated-msf condition exists".
Is there any exception like bug 495760 in Error Console?

Never noticed one, and I generally don't have folder problems. Hopefully I'll remember to check next time.
To clarify - the mouseover I did has no drag object and I have not clicked on the folder
