Since we have the new w3c notification in Core for all platforms I've found a few bugs to refine them in Thunderbird. So I've made this meta to bundle them for easier finding.

You are referring to Bug 782211 - Implement notification API spec ?
I've found a few bugs to refine them in Thunderbird. So I've made this meta to bundle them for easier finding.
What about
- Bug 1109395 - No data: urls for W3C Notifications icon property (filed by Protz)
- Bug 901728 - XUL alerts only visible on same desktop as SM resides (although we are getting away from xul)
- Bug 857962 - Clicking on a desktop notification should put the tab's window foreground (apparently still broken for Windows)
- Bug 324570 - Make simultaneous notifications from alerts service work
