win branch 0625, flash plugin 5.0. steps: 1 go to bmwfilms.com 2 The browser crashes when you bring up the context menu while the animation is in the process of ending and the index page is about to load... as pointed out in bug 137959, having upgraded from Flash 5.0r41 to 6.0.23.0 this now works for me
this seems to be fixed on win32 with the newest version of Flash. Shrir says it still crashes on LInux though.

bug 138977 mentions this happens on linux..so changing OS:ALL. windows and linux only..i am not yet able to repro this on mac.

I fixed something like this before in bug 104236, taking bug... Questions: 1. Does this happen with all version of Flash (even 6) on all flavors of Windows? 2. Does this happen with other plugins besides Flash (6) on Linux?

Peter, I haven't been able to reproduce this since upgrading to Flash 6.0.23.0
Just installed Flash 6.0.23 here and it still crashes with Rc1,Win2K,Flash6.0.23.
I think 4.x has this same problem. Lets be clear, I think there are two bugs here (maybe we split): 1. Linux crash with context menu on bmwfilms.com (my Windows Moz works, 4.x crashes) 2. My Windows (I assume Linux too) Moz and 4.x crash reloading shockwave.com with context menu.

tested using current build (20020530) and Flash 6,0,23,0 on win98, Shrir also tested and could not repro. If this is reproducible in an embedded client then we need to track the difference in code paths or alterations to lower level code.
