Confirmed I can reproduce.
Chris - Is this a site bug or a core bug?

I did no debugging. This bug reminds me Bug 883024 as similar symptom.

I don't know. Edwin may be able to investigate.

This is probably not a video bug. More likely to be a layout or layers bug.
This bug was filed against trunk. Does it happen on trunk, or was it actually tested on b2g18?

This was originally tested on b2g18 on a leo partner build by leo. Fixing version on bug as such.
Version: Trunk → 18 Branch

This is on leo's signoff list for bugs to resolve for YouTube, so I'm putting this into the nom queue to see if Mozilla/Leo wants to block on this.

Triage - Partner will not block release on this bug, but this should be fixed to optimize user experience and the youtube story.

Fair enough - if leo is okay with this and allows YouTube to remain in the build, then I'll pull the nom.

I don't know sorry. I defer to Edwin since he's looking at it according to comment 18.

Reproduced on desktop by setting b2g26 user agent and using the responsive design view. It doesn't look like the width or height attributes are being changed.
Site bug.

Could you find any different point the Youtube contents and working correct contents?

I confirmed how the youtube site works by using PC Firefox nightly by the following.
- Change User Agent to "Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:14.0) Gecko/14.0 Firefox/14.0"
by using User Agent Switcher add-on
- Change the view size by using the responsive design view(640*360).
- change media.windows-media-foundation.enabled to "true" at about:config
- visite youtube web site and start a video playback.
- Check a css of the video by using inspector
When the view size was 640*360, the video tag's attribute was followng. It was not changed when change the rotation.
- controls="true" style="width: 640px; height: 360px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px;
n.b. There were cases that the firefox browser shows the youtube web site for android and can not playback HTML5 video in browser.
