Please run the test in the attachment. The test will return a pass. But if you watch the phone while running the test, you can see that it doesn't flick on the elements given as arguments.
I need to make this flick work in order to update the locators in test_clock_set_alarm_time.py, according to Bug 944436

Mdas, we are trying to upgrade a different test to perform more user-like interactions and I think we are hitting this aswell.
This case and Viorela's both share the problem of flick/move Actions not working on the System app.
As this is blocking two test cases now can we look at it with a higher priority?

It's possible this is related to or exacerbated by bug 958036. Could you try disabling APZ (hold power button) and running the test without restarting the device? The APZ change to enable by default landed after this bug was raised, so there's a possibility there's more than one issue here.

This is due to a Gaia issue; the selector code is not following our touch/mouse event standard. It expects mouse events when it should be expecting touch events. I've filed Bug 1004714 about this.
Depends on: 1004714

This should work now. I tested the gaia patch locally and the am/pm toggle moves now. Viorela, can you confirm? It should be in today's build, or worst case, you can do 'make install-gaia' with the latest gaia master.
You'll also need to update the test a bit since gaia has changed. You'll need to make this change in gaia-ui-tests/gaiatest/apps/contacts/regions/gmail.py:
- _gmail_sign_in_frame_locator = (By.CSS_SELECTOR, '#frame-container > iframe[data-url*="google"]')
+ _gmail_sign_in_frame_locator = (By.CSS_SELECTOR, 'iframe[data-url*="google"]')

oops, nevermind this! This is for a different test. I don't think this one needs any changes

I have to check the commented code in: https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/blob/master/tests/python/gaia-ui-tests/gaiatest/tests/functional/clock/test_clock_create_new_alarm.py#L55.
I'll check it works, then close this bug.

Malini, I did a check and I confirm that flick() and other actions are working as expected. I did the check on today's build:
