I use Mozilla with an IMAP mail account. My mail account is configured in such
a way that some incoming messages are automatically saved to folders other than
"INBOX". When I tell Mozilla to "Get New Messages", however, it only checks the
"INBOX" folder for new mail.
It would be very useful to be able to tell Mozilla to check specific folders for
new messages when it checks for new mail (essentially flag arbitrary IMAP
folders as "inboxes") so that one action would show me if I had new mail in any
of my incoming folders.
Alternately, something akin to the NS 4.x "update message counts" function would
be a workable (if somewhat less sophisticated) substitute.

Sounds reasonable =)
See Bug 57660 for more information about IMAP + folders other than INBOX
