As a community manager I’d like to offer contributors one central place that organizes all their needs. Those need include:
* See who are the top contributors per locale, area and product
* Be able to find contributors who are active in a given locale, area, or product
* A newsfeed with latest information on community related things
** The newsfeed area should be editable like an article
** The newsfeed should display a feed from the SUMO blog
** The newsfeed should include a video of the last community meeting

Hey there Ricky,
So I had a look at this concept before and again just now. I also noticed the back-end related bug that this one depends on.
I am assuming that this is going to be a project built on Django/Playdoh so, would you be against the idea, that the end result of *this* bug be, the UI hooked up to simple views already running in Django/Playdoh?

This will be built as part of the kitsune project (mozilla/kitsune on github). We'll create a new app in it, and the new views should reuse the base template and common styles as much as possible. So the answer is yes. But the simple views should be inside of the new app in kitsune. We are going to have a kickoff soon to talk more about it and you'll be invited. Thanks!

All blockers have been fixed. I'll file new tracker for the future work.
