Seems like we don't want to put the sponsored icon on sites that aren't actually sponsoring, so it sounds like we'll want to just replace everything with Mozilla related things until we get an actual list from bug 990713.

Where * could be marked as affiliate and everything else organic (so no sponsored). Both bug 974736 (icon) and bug 974745 (panel) have been verified, and we're just changing the reference data, so I think we should be good.

- Note that I couldn't actually find a good link to use for the Foundation so I'm thinking we try for the MDN page instead.  It's one of the most popular sites on the mozilla.org domain.

Is this bug just about getting the necessary assets in place or is it about hooking them up to get some early testing on the PoC? If it's the latter this is probably [qa+].

This bug is to put in some temporary content before the actual content lands in bug 990713. The functionality is not changing, and those behaviors are already automatically tested or covered with previous [qa+], so I believe this bug does not need ongoing verification.

clarkbw, just wanted to confirm that we do want this in 31 (with none of the tiles as sponsored) and undo bug 993581?

Also, for the images, should we be shrinking/cropping them down to the 243x150 size? Or should we do something similar to what Boriss has in bug 990713 with 180x86 files with transparency.

Since we're making progress in bug 997970 on the real list (only 3 left) and bug 993581 turned us off temporarily I guess we could drop this bug and just move forward on bug 997970.

Seems like we're going to have to do what Boriss has been doing.  Most images aren't in the size we need so filling in with background colors is going to have to work and creates smaller images at the same time.
