.3% tscroll-ASAP regression on OSX 10 .6 from may 21st on fx-team (fx32)
This is from the same push as bug 1014808, but this is a different test! I found a tscroll-asap regression on fx-team: http://graphs.mozilla.org/graph.html#tests=[[309,64,21]]&sel=1400626859000,1400799659000&displayrange=7&datatype=running I did some retriggers: https://tbpl.mozilla.org/?tree=Fx-Team&fromchange=9f7d9d5c9261&tochange=164f8a2bcfba&jobname=Rev4%20MacOSX%20Snow%20Leopard%2010.6%20fx-team%20talos%20svgr and it came down to this push: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/fx-team/pushloghtml?changeset=84c572a9c878 I am more concerned about: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/fx-team/rev/a9329165ace3 (bug 759252) https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/fx-team/rev/84c572a9c878 (bug 1008355) Of course there are some developer tools and android stuff mixed in there as well.
2.98% regression on tp5o as well for the same changeset: http://graphs.mozilla.org/graph.html#tests=[[255,64,21]]&sel=1400629595000,1400802395000&displayrange=7&datatype=running
osx 10.8 has shown up now: * tp5o 3.21% regression: http://mzl.la/1k8Nycx * tscrossx 4.08% regression: http://mzl.la/1lX7j4C :jaws, can you dig into this?
This is probably fixed the patch in bug 1016942.
This is really hard to determine. I suspect it is fixed, but we had a LARGE tscroll regression yesterday which muddied the waters. tp5 is fixed though: http://graphs.mozilla.org/graph.html#tests=[[287,64,21],[287,64,24],[255,64,24]]&sel=1400503568162,1401367568162&displayrange=7&datatype=running So maybe this is really fixed and the regression that we are seeing is actually larger than reported. I have done some retriggers on fx-team to help validate this.
ok, tscroll is fixed! we went from 4.1-4.2 range down to 4.0-4.05 range which is almost exactly a 3.3% improvement.
