We would like developers to be able to choose that the purchase of an app goes to a shared account like the Mozilla Foundation. This was done in bug 925834 and we've got the go ahead from the Foundation. So when a use clicks the $0.99 button on the marketplace and completes the payment, the money goes to the Foundation, not to the developer. It would be nice if we could find some way of reflecting that in the buy button on the consumer pages so that we could increase the chance of someone clicking it and making it clearer where the money goes.
This sounds cool, I'll take a crack at it!
