I can't delete, move or change bookmarks in my bookmark manager.
Properties of the bookmarks don't work. On deleting a bookmark, and closing the
manager, the bookmark still sits proudly where it was.
Plus I can't add bookmarks anymore.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Bookmark manager
2. Try to move, delete or edit a bookmark


Actual Results:  deleting a bookmark brings it back when leaving the manager
moving a bookamrk leaves it sitting where it was when leaving the manager
edit (properties of) a bookmark, nothing happens.

Expected Results:  that should be obvious :)

I uninstall every old version of Mozilla.
I make a new profile when I have problems, and import my bookmarks list.

seems to WFM, although I'm not using exactly the same setup

Marking New, I seen this today, I had to delete the bookmark, close mozilla via
-> File > Exit, then reload, and the file a new bookmark where this was a
bookmark that I wanted to resave/change in the same folder.

maybe related to sum initialization of first use.. because this is not always
the case.. There were bugs about the those context menu items being disabled...
also check to see if you have a read-only bookmark file that will cause you
problems.

I guess its not the problem I've see I had with comment #2, is that I have a
bookmark bugzilla bug X that is in a folder that the summary changed.  I could
change the properties box to reflect the summary change, but I wanted to
shortcut this so.  I when to do just a re-file the bookmark.. but because it
looks for matches, it will discard it as its the same location.  Now to fix my
problem, I had to delete that current bookmark.. close mozilla and refile it. 
It appears that I should file a new bug I think.

wfm using NS 2002032203 build on Win2K. Claudius, could you try this?

trudelle: I realized that there is confusion in this bug
DND in BM: wfm
DND in sidebar: does not work (linux and windows).
Maybe we should reopen bug 131547 and dupe 133351 against it and resolving this
one as WFM.

reporter, can you reproduce this bug in the *bookmark manager* (Ctrl-B or
accel-B) with a recent build and a new profile?
