Oftentimes I find that after focus is put into an input field, the zoom-to-input behaviour that results is not great. Either the keyboard comes up and covers the input field, or there are multiple shifts of the viewport as the autocomplete popup shows up, or something else. In general this isn't as fluid as it should be. Over the years there have been a lot of bugs filed on this topic, I'm going to dupe them all to this meta bug. This bug should only be resolved once all of these scenarios are working properly and have automated tests - so really that means most of the actual work should be done in bugs blocking this one.
