The switch from CFM to Mach-O builds will require plugin vendors to recompile to support scripting in order to match the ABI of the browser.

If you shut down Firefird (I assume this works for Firefox as well), and use Macromedia's Shockwave installer, then Shockwave is installed just fine. If you don't shut down the browser first, it doesn't work. I think it'd be great to post this on the plugin doc under "Mac OS X and Firefox" even if this is the only thing we have so far.

For the record, better if you close all your browsers before you install plugins, I think is stated somewhere in plugindoc
This bug does not seem to be tracking plugindoc.mozdev.org work any more. Hendy has done several revamps since 2004. If you disagree with this closing please reopen.
