OVERVIEW DESCRIPTION: Clicking on certain links with the right mouse button brings up the context menu (on button press) AND follows the link (on button release). TO REPEAT: 1. start mozilla, goto http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/seamonkey 2. find an "L" link in the table and click it with the right mouse button, (make sure you release the button over the "L" too) VERSION & OS: Mozilla nightly build 1999-10-20-11-M11 on Windows NT 4.0 SP5.

The description doesn't seem clear. Links are NOT followed on right clicks. However, Javascript OnClick methods ARE called on a right click.

Would the firing of OnClick events be the reason that items in the sidebar react to right-clicks exactly as if they had been left-clicked? The only weird thing about this behavior is that with a left-click the "clicked" item is highlighted, but when a right-click fires it off, no highlight.
