User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:120.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/120.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. I open Firefox as usual on my Xiaomi phone.
  2. Open any online video streaming websites.
  3. I enter full-screen mode to watch videos.

Actual results:

  1. Video cannot enter full-screen mode properly, the Android navigation bar always appears whenever I tap on the video screen, and it will persistently not disappear until I swipe down the center control bar and then swipe up.
  2. And there is a white bar near the camera notch area appearing next to the video I am watching, and it is really annoying.
  3. And the Android status bar, including the clock, Wi-Fi, etc., always appears and overlays on the full-screen video.

Expected results:

It should be a true full-screen mode without anything affecting the content I am viewing. I don't need the Android navigation bar in full-screen mode or the annoying white bar. Please fix this issue urgently.

This sounds frustrating but it is not a security issue so I am going to unhide the bug.

I can confirm this issue with a Xiaomi Mi11 Lite (Android 11).
I've seen a few other opened issues about this issue, all but one Xiaomis with Android 11 (one has Android 10):
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1882672
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1904654
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1902917
As this is the oldest I found, I'll close the other ones as duplicates of this one.
Also I think it's a regression of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1849009
Tested build: Nightly 129.0a1 from 2024-06-27.
