I reached out to Nvidia about this in 2022. They didn't know of any technical reasons for not supporting Firefox but were currently only supporting Chromium. Now that they support Safari it might be worth reaching out again.

This works for me now. I still get a warning about an unsupported browser but I'm able to play.

Verified, as Jeff mentioned, the warning is still shown but I was able to play with using the RC build.
Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox 138.0-candidate build 1
Operating System: Windows 10

Let's reopen this. We still see a warning, so there still is an issue. Even if we don't do anything, we should keep an eye on it.
