User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Thunderbird news reader would become more usable and more user friendly if a horizontal scroll bar were incorporated in the news group listing window. Much the same as is currently found in OE news reader, this would allow the user to horizontally scroll to read long group names. This would also do away with the default abbreviation of group names feature which results in cryptic and hard to read group names. Turning the default abbreviation off does not achieve optimal results because long names still abbreviate until window is resized to contain the long names. The placement of a horizontal scroll bar will allow the user to quickly read entire group names without having to resize the window. This would be a welcomed enhancement and will make Thunderbird more user friendly. Reproducible: Always
