In the latest builds (1.8 branch, linux, self-compiled as well as downloaded), the Help menu is broken. Not a single menu item works. Just nothing happens.

Steps to reproduce:
Click Help -> Help Contents.

Expected result: open Help viewer.
Actual result: nothing.

Trunk builds work fine.

All seeing this with the Windows 2006072011 hourly build too, but Ok in the nightly, which is 2006072004.

Perhaps fallout from mrbkap%gmail.com's landing in preparation for bug 321299 ? Certainly touches alot of code.
Bug 321299 is the culprit, proven by local backout.

Doesn't work on nightly build 2006072103 (Win-XP SP2) either.
FYI, Thunderbird is plagued by the same problems. I can't open the options or account manager dialog at all. It sounds like some folks are able to open the options dialog in Fx, I can't make Tb get that far.

    Additionally, MR Tech Local Install toolbar buttons are useless and BBCode is not functional.

Linux SM 2006072019 and OS/2 SM 2006072009 opens bookmarks but won't open pages selected from bookmarks. Is this more bug 314549 fallout?

Read the bug report better before posting - comment #3 already said it's bug 321299 fallout...

Can't delete mail by folder, only individually in 7/20 Thunderbird. Also lost some mail and finally, can't compact folders.
I backed the offending patch out.
