Preparing the final sign-off:

Functionality - so far so good, we have a team of testers going through litmus. So far the bugs are at most annoyances that can be corrected after 2.0.
Translation coverage - same as above.
In-product web links - not tested yet.
Exposed services - Everything tested and working.
Help content - translation completed and working. Entry points checked with Axel script.

I have just checked the in-product web links and there seem to be a few problems.

/firstrun/index.html:
- The page layout is a bit different from the en-US layout. The en-US header is an image whereas the pt-PT one is clear text of a much smaller size.
- There is no "Go to my home page" button
- Does it make sense to display the dictionary options when the pt-PT version of Firefox 2.0 is shipping with them by default?

/whatsnew/index.html:
- Same header problem as above
- pt-PT layout isn't being displayed correctly; the dictionary field is outside of the main area. Also, the layout itself looks different.

None of the other pages have been published yet but the localized strings have already been submitted.

Joao, is Portuguese ready for release? Joao Luzio and Rita have been doing some litmus tests yesterday, those look good.

If it's ready, please close this bug indicating sign-off. Deadline for sign-off is today, as announced in .l10n.

Yes, it's good for release. They are still working on the litmus tests, but no bugs have even appeared in the last couple of days. :)
