Details

(Whiteboard: [fixed by bug 338549, bug 557622 and bug 557625])

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100216 Fedora/3.5.8-1.fc12 Firefox/3.5.8
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100301 Fedora/3.0.3-1.fc12 Thunderbird/3.0.3

When thunderbird starts it asks for the master password (if one is set). The dialog pops up. Now this is not a modal dialog you can still access the accounts and the password window will be moved to background.
If the "Get Mail" button is pressed now, while the master password dialog is still there a second password dialog will be created (with the title "Password Required <2>"). This doesn't make any sense, there should be only one dialog appearing.
To make it even worse if you keep waiting for a while (5 minutes) a third password dialog will appear with the title "Password Required <3>".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set master password
2. restart thunderbird, keep the Password Required dialog open and press "Get Mail"
3. wait for approx. 5 minutes and a third dialog will appear
Actual Results:
multiple master password dialogs appear

Expected Results:
one master password dialog should appear
