In mozilla I don't get the promotional messages that appear in NN 4.75 at
the top of ual.com's page, below the small plane.

Platform:
build 11/03 on Linux (sorry build id does not show up)

Expected results:
Like in NN 4.75, the dynamic messages should appear.

Additional informations:
ual.com uses the following (wrong) code to detect browsers:

NS4=(document.layers) ? true : false;
IE4=(document.all)?true:false;

The ticker doesn't show up if you look at fares without logging in.  If you use
"create itinerary", which requires a Mileage Plus number, the offending ticker
is still present.  I have found that Opera doesn't handle this well, either.

STATUS: United is currently finishing up testing and certifying its site for
mozilla. It mostly works but still has a few issues they are ironing out.

I don't see a "ticker" on the home page, or when searching for fares while not
logged in either in mozilla or IE. If this problem still exists please add more
details.

any update on the certification of the site to work with 6.2+ ?

I tried to use a build from today to login and get mileage plus
info and it choked.  e.g. some messages about cookies not being 
enabled when they were, then it took the login but some redirection
problems ended up sending me to an endless loop page at
https://www.itn.net/cgi/xreg/itn/air/mp?message_version=1&auth_message=5O-LJLlDgSkfZOz0Rk7qgVWnuE5cNQ2-TJDiIk7-N8fHvkrKPPmpYk&stamp=NEWCOOKY*itn%2Ford%3DNEWREC%2Citn%2Fair%2Fmp&return_to=ff_acct_hist
but never showed me my account info.

Testing with N6.2.1 Linux:
Using the URL suggested by Chris (above URL). I was able to access the page.
Chris, if you just click the URL you sent, it works (without the looping problem)?

oopsss! I also got the "old visibility problem" - or as reported by Chris
"endless loop" using trunk recent. I guess this could be some regression in
their side or they forgot to update this page. I will copy this info to our
bugscape bug where Susie and Marcio  will be working to follow up and fix.
