I'm not sure how to describe this: I'll just attach a picture... This affects both Firefox and SeaMonkey. (6 days) Regression timeframe (to be narrowed down...): /pub/firefox/nightly/2010/09/2010-09-01-04-mozilla-central works fine /pub/firefox/nightly/2010/09/2010-09-07-04-mozilla-central regressed

(In reply to comment #1) > Intel graphics ? Then it's bug 593678. The symptom is certainly the same ;-> My card/driver is: { Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4) DirectX: 9.0 NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT BIOS: 5.73.22.54.00 Windows Driver: 6.14.10.9424 ForceWare: 94.24 } I can choose from 6 levels of hardware acceleration: 3 - Deactivate DirectDraw and Direct3D and "..." : works fine. 4 - Deactivate "..." only : broken. So it is DD/D3D related, as a confirmation :-> NB: Fwiw, I think in the past I installed a wrong "Quattro"(!?) driver, which I feel like it left over a bad setting either in Windows or in the card. But I don't know to check/fix that, nor whether this is causing this bug on my computer
Depends on: 593678

We should just disable hardware acceleration on Windows 2000 - too many issues.

Bug 593678 fix didn't help me. Fwiw, I ran the test in Windows DxDiag utility: passed (DirectDraw, DirectX 7 & 8 & 9).
