There have been quite a few bugs filed over the last few months - some closed out, some left open for further investigation.

Using this meta bug to (a) Collect the various bugs together so as to give an idea of frequency of each of the failure modes, and (b) Mean that any of the open investigation bugs are more obvious to those following along.

Please file dependant bugs for new issues - this bug is not for reporting nagios alerts directly etc :-)
