Yes, the 'Edit Mode' is quite critical because it might affect how we should build up the new layout for thread view. Another minor issue is sending cursor, which seems would be blocked by the portrait photo in single line content case.(That would be another question - can user set their portrait photo in 1.4?)

That blue/green color makes my eyes hurt, especially in edit mode where red is mixed in.

Hey Stephany, this is a meta bug that depends on two, the biggest one is bug 963013 (I'm working on it during this sprint, it's in review currently).
