* The left() getter isn't implemented.
also, don't attempt to send a presence stanza to the MUC if we have disconnected the account already

* handle sending private messages to a MUC participant

* handle MUC topics

(I'm just dumping here what I have in my todo list; if someone starts working on these issues, we may want to file a few separate bugs, depending on how separate or intermingled these things turn out to be.)

It could also be nice to add more info for the tooltips of participants. I think we receive presence stanzas from them with details of their status. And we can probably even have their vCard with their avatar.
