OS X 10.10 takes on an entirely different design, which means many of our elements need to be updated. We'll need to update some toolkit stuff as well...

Now, that Bug 1055018, Bug 1051522 and friends are fixed, it should be possible to add the 10.10 transparency to the TB UI. -moz-appearance now has the values -moz-mac-vibrancy-light and -moz-mac-vibrancy-dark for that. An example for Firefox can be found in Bug 1059278.
Firefox now has updated the icons for Yosemite in Bug 1050809. Maybe we can use similar ones for TB?

This is a meta bug, but I didn't really indicate that.

All the blocking bugs of this meta are fixed, in which case this bug would get closed. But shouldn't instantbird bug 1084982 actually block this rather than the other way around? That said, bug 1084982 has no meat in it. It entirely died, and has no mention of specific items to be completed.
