Project "Toolkit for sandboxing third-parties libraries in Firefox" described here
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Community:SummerOfCode19
This task tracks some limitations in rlbox that should be addressed before sandboxing more libraries - i.e. libraries other than the initial target of libGraphite.

The list of high priority libraries we discussed on calls/slack is below. We
should create individual bugs as we start working on them.
EDIT: Moved this to separate bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1673529

I can see the project is now listed in the idea list of this year GSOC. I wrote mail to the mentors, but as it seems it will take sometime to get response back. Meanwhile before directly jumping to write the proposal, I wanted to discuss the libraries, I have experience in developing display drivers for Chromium so is there third party library which needs to be sand-boxed that fits this category.
I would have discussed here earlier but I lost the 2FA code and recovery was time consuming process. Anyways what is the channel for the RLBox/wasm-sandbox related discussions cause yesterday I ended up on webassembly and couldn't find all of the mentors but just Nathan Sir (He was not online though) there.
Let me know Shravan and Deian Sir.

You can join the rlbox channel in https://chat.mozilla.org. We can have a longer discussion or answer any questions there.
