This only occurs when using a custom Windows XP theme, or certain theme (like mine, perhaps). Two such sites are: http://www.washingtonpost.com http://www.buy.com Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install StyleXP and use a (my) custom theme. I personally use this one - http://www.themexp.org/view_info.php?id=469. See deatils below. 2. Go to www.washingtonpost.com Actual Results: The page refreshes rapidly. Expected Results: Display the page and not refresh, unless resized. Theming Information This only occurs because I run StyleXP from http://www.tgtsoft.com/ - this uses the "built-in" theming engine in Windows XP, but unlocks the feature to allow custom themes. Hence, this only occurs on Windows XP. So far this has only occured with my theme and with Phoenix. Mozilla? Mozilla 1.4a (04-01-03), nor IE (6.0), has this problem with my theme. Conclusion There is some kind of compatibility issue with StyleXP/custom themes and how Phoenix sets up its window/toolbars/scrollbars which does not occur in Mozilla. This may also cause issues with similar programs such as WindowBlinds ( http://www.windowblinds.net/ ). However, this bug is extremely specialized -- I tested some other themes and they also work OK. It could be said that its a bug in the theme, except that Moz and IE work fine.
