When opening .eml which includes attachements those are not accessible - only
the file names in boxes are shown

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Save a message with attachements as .eml
2.Open the .eml (by File - Open File) 


Actual Results:  
Only the file names of the attachements are shown but can't be opened/saved

Expected Results:  
Attachements should be accessible like in normal messages

This is actually bug 241212, altho bug 174692 would be addressed by a fix for 
that.  Not duping because this could be a TB-only fix.

Here is a manual method to open the attachment with TB 1.5 beta2 

Summary:
Receiving a mail wich is a forwarding of a mail which include an
attachment(mail, doc, pdfetc...), with the original mail in attachment (not inline)
NB: this mail was forwarded with my TB where option-> composition -> general ->
"Forward message as" was set as "attachment" and not "inline")

Open the mail --> you will see the mail + 2 attachement: the mail and the
original attachment
--> double click on the mail --> nothing happens
--> click and save as --> Alert box: "Unable to save the attachment. Please
check your file name and try again later"
--> click and detach --> asking for autorization of detach attachment from mail
and save to disk --> ok --> then try to open it --> Windows message box "Open
with" asking with which program we want to load the file --> choose thunderbird
--> nothing happens ...

SO ... the main problem is that TB didn't forward message as attachment by
adding a ".eml" to the file 
And thus, when we save the attachement and try to open it, it didn't work

The manual method is:
1) Open the mail
2) click on the mail forwarded as attachment and save it to disk
3) Go to the folder where the attachment is saved and add a ".eml" to the
attachement
4) double click on this new renamed .eml file --> it will open in TB with only
one attachement (.doc, .pdf etc ... ) and you will  be able to read or save the
attachement

I think this is an important bug to fix ... it works well by adding manually the
.eml in attachment folder, since the bug
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=261559 was solved.
(I remember that before, that was really painful to read some attachments send
by outlook users, even by save the attachment et adding .eml)

In addition to my precedent comment, this bug refers also to mails forwarded as
attachement and which contains no attachements.
When you open the mail attached, it open a new window displaying the text of the
mail, but you see a second time the same attachement in this mail like a recurse
loop.
If you save the attachment, add the eml and open it, you will see only the mail,
without useless attachements

Thanks for the report, but: that's *not* this bug.  You want bug 203570.  And 
don't bother commenting there, please -- the problem is well understood, only 
awaiting the attention of someone who can fix it.

*This* bug, as described in the original report, has actually been fixed, at the 
dupe.
