Before we release 0.6 we'll be cutting a branch from the 1.7 trunk. There may be interesting fixes on the trunk we may want to agressively take into the 0.6 branch when it is cut. This meta bug is to track those bugs.

I would propose bug 97186 (Method of having alphabetical sort for newsgroups in the folder pane.) which has 23 votes. Perhaps if it's too late for 0.6 marking for 0.7?

there is no patch on bug 97186. So there is nothing to port to 0.6 branch.
We may want to look into the patch for bug 26201 unless signifigant work is needed. Would be nice polish.
