bug_email and bug_email_append are basically completely horked, in 2.20 and above. I'm not even sure they were working in 2.18.

This is a tracking bug for all the issues. Probably the first thing that needs to be done is that bug 94850 and its blockers need to be resolved, so that it actually becomes a supported part of Bugzilla.

It would be a very popular feature, I think, if it actually worked.

Hrm, yes, but we have to move blockers somewhere, or just re-work this bug into the general "make email_in complete" bug.

I don't think that's a "major" bug. Just a normal one, IMO.

This was fixed when we removed these contrib/ scripts and fixed all the significant bugs in email_in.pl, in Bugzilla 3.0.
