On a machine with two monitors attached, when the window is positioned across monitors, the dropdown menu appears in the wrong location. Steps: 1. Create a folder on the bookmarks bar called "test" 2. Open the URL 3. Add the page to the "test" folder 4. Position the windows so that the "test" folder is just to the left of the border between monitors 5. Select the "test" item on the bookmark bar Result: dropdown menu appears on the second monitor, just to the right of the border between monitors (ok) 6. Next, move the window roughly 150 pixels to the left 7. Select the "test" item again Result: dropdown menu still appears on the second monitor, to the right of the border between monitors. In the attached screenshot, the window was place so that the border between windows was placed just above the "k" in "Wikipedia" in the title bar.

I see the same problem. Moving the window partially or fully into the secondary display causes the location/bookmark dropdown (and any other dropdown) to be displaced (shows up on the primary screen) Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Dual Display - Dell 2407WFP (primary at 1920x1200) & macbook pro (secondary at 1440x900)

This one seems to be a different one.
I have Xorg configured with 2 monitors. I have one xorg screen configured to span across the two monitors (twinview/xinerama). The second monitor is configured to be to the right of the first monitor. When the Firefox window is on both the left and right monitor AND 50% or more of the window is on the left monitor, the menus (File/Edit/View/etc) do not display in the proper location on the left screen. They are displayed at the left-most position on the second screen. The red line I drew on the screenshot is the last pixel on the left monitor. This also happens with Thunderbird.
Using the latest beta binary: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9.1b2) Gecko/20081201 Firefox/3.1b2

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Security; Windows NT 5.1; Locale; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090312 Extra.Firefox I have seen this on Windows XP SP2 in a dual monitor configuration: * full screen (primary monitor) -- works as expected; * full screen (secondary monitor) -- all popups are shown on the primary monitor. This affects: * tooltips; * awesome bar; * text field history (e.g. username); * sub-menus from the menu at the top (e.g. the File menu popup). This is in a [1 2] configuration. The y position is correct, but the rightmost x position (including the drop shadow if present) is aligned to the rightmost edge of the primary monitor.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Security; Windows NT 5.1; Locale; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090331 Still present in the latest build. Also affects the new Ctrl+Tab UI -- the Ctrl+Tab window appears on the primary screen.

¡Hola Wayne! Ended up here from https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1210665 so this is apparently still a thing. The user asking there is on Firefox 59 on Windows 10 so updating flags accordingly. There's also https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1163941 that looks like a duplicate to me. ¡Gracias! Alex

click on Start button then on Push).
