Seen while running on trunk on the Hulu site, but there is Beta 4 users that are hitting this crash as well: http://tinyurl.com/2gx5fwx
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-a11e5a83-7333-469c-82d6-98a312100826. The site I crashed on is in the URL field.
There are no comments in the B4 crashes as to what the users were doing when they crashed.
STR:
1. Context click while the video is playing, sometimes rapidly.
2. Eventually I get the beachball and the plugin crashes.

This crasher for me happens when watching flash video. It can be reproduced by watching any web video, for example at YouTube, then opening a second tab that has flash video content, or clicking a link to load a new page with video. There is high chance that flash plugin will crash.
Plugin can also crash when watching video on BBC iPlayer, Facebook, Vimeo to name a few.

I'm having daily and very frequent Flash crashes but no report is generated. It happens when closing a tab with flash element playing (youtube video, ads).

the high volume crash of this set of signatures appears to have started showing up on nov 5. that's a few days after a large spike in windows crashes, and similar to Bug 616471. currently running at 60-75 crashes per day.

Anyone that is experiencing this crash should try to disable hardware acceleration on flash and see if this continues happening. You do this by accessing the flash preferences and unchecking the hardware acceleration box.
Comment 20•15 years ago

"Adobe Flash Player Settings" dialogue box that appears doesn't respond to any clicks. You can click all the tabs and they do nothing, you can't even close it. Same within Safari and on my other Mac, so must be a flash bug.
Any other way to disable acceleration Marcia, there must be a plain text config file for flash somewhere?

I can reproduce this extremely reliably, it happens every time I navigate away from a YouTube page.
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help track this down, if anyone in the office wants to run a debug build on my machine, or similar.
