At the Firefox Workweek offsite, we brainstormed a bunch of ideas for telemetry metrics. This bug will be the (temporary) metabug, with subbugs filed for a few other areas. The plan is to do some hacking to fix a pile of these, move the remainders to some wiki page, and then close these out. [These metabugs largely just avoiding a flood of tiny bugs and patches.]

FYI, bug 671078 is adding .telemetry to Services.jsm.

The meta-meta-bug hierarchy isn't so useful here, causing duplicates to be filed, and making it difficult to track the work. Going to close some of the meta-meta-bugs and make the individual probe bugs block this one.
