This Websockets based, HTML5 game is inspired by the MMOPRG games of the 80's and 90's, where tons of players would come to a singular world to work together to fight and beat level bosses. This particular game is heavily inspired visually by Zelda and was built to show that compelling and entertaining cross platform games don't have to rely on plugins, and instead, can be built with HTML5 technologies. The game is also cross browser compatible, and we expect it to work well on Chrome, Opera and Safari.
Players can play the game both from their mobile phone and their desktop device. The goal of the game is to work together with other players, also playing in real time, to explore the world and beat bosses that attack and try to kill you. You can communicate with other players using the text input and you move around by clicking or tapping where you want to go. There are easter eggs and rewards scattered all over the world (some which are Firefox inspired), and there are plans for social media to be added so you can share and tweet once you hit certain levels.
We're hoping to allow several thousand players to play at anyone time.
Please add [BrowserQuest] to any bugs filed for this project in the whiteboard.

Note from LW:
Hello,
Please find attached the list of bugs that Franck and myself didn't have time to fix before code freeze. They are sorted by severity, and we also indicate wether they affect server/client stability or gameplay.
We are hoping to be able to start working on fixing them as soon as possible. Although the list may seem long, many of these bugs are quick and safe fixes.
We would like to:
1. File each of these bugs to Bugzilla, with attached screenshots when needed.
2. Commit fixes to a separate QA branch
3. Merge them into the master branch as soon as the QA team gives us the green light to push bug fixes.
Note to Chris More: this third step would require IT to set up an automatic git pull from the master branch to the staging server.
Please let us know if this works for everyone.
Thank you,
Guillaume
