The English version of the manifesto has been migrated to bedrock (Bug 861243).

There is ongoing work to add/update more languages in Bug 433928, but these have been happening in SVN in basic HTML. These translations should be ported to bedrock as well.

r116254 and r116256 in SVN trunk

Still need to setup the appropriate redirects to point to these new pages, and then remove the old HTML pages.
Pull request for the bedrock changes: https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock/pull/894

A few notes:
* the Friulian (fur) locale isn't in the accepted list of PROD_LANGUAGES in bedrock - what to do?
* the Spanish translations have been copied to all four Spanish locales (es-AR, es-CL, es-ES, es-MX) - if there's a better way to share these, let me know.

Friulan doesn't have any .lang file on SVN right now, except for manifesto.
http://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.com/trunk/locales/fur/

My suggestion would be to leave the file on trunk and not moving it on stage/production, at least until we can figure this out with Pascal.

Copying the same .lang files in 4 places it's not optimal but it works, I would leave it like this for now.
Update the KO translation from Bug 873497 in trunk in r116279.

This puts our list of svn commits at: r116254, r116256, r116279 (all in SVN trunk)
Moved the translation credit strings into the .lang files as per a suggestion on the pull request.

This puts our list of svn commits at: r116254, r116256, r116279, r116281. (all in SVN trunk)

As discussed in bug 861243 (comments 1-3), translation credits should be better off.

Also, can we see the pages in stage before they are pushed to production (just in case something does not fit right)?

https://www.allizom.org/pt-BR/about/manifesto/ replace the pt-BR with the locale you want to test.

Layout looks good but it would be great if someone who spoke those languages checked for errors
Hi Flod-

Could you please help us have these migrated versions of the manifesto checked for errors on stage?

Thx,
Jen

I'm sending a message on dev-l10n-web, asking teams to check their locales and report issues. BTW Italian looks great, I also compared the text with an old version I had locally and it's a perfect match.

Done: https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/mozilla.dev.l10n.web/wiKRSZ0Ox3Q

Is there a reason for the newsletter box to be displayed in English for all locales? The right box seems to be new (Mission, etc.), but that part should be already localized for some languages.

Look for example at French
https://www.mozilla.org/fr/contribute/
https://www.allizom.org/fr/about/manifesto/
Another question that came in from a localizer: since files are now on SVN, can he make changes to the current strings or should he wait?

Any idea which revisions remain to be merged to stage/prod? Are all the .lang changes merged? It also seems there should be more commits removing the old manifesto files.

This is the set of revisions that I made in mozilla.com trunk: 116254, 116256, 116279, 116281. However, I'm not sure which of may have already been merged. I might have to do some manually text file parsing to sort that out.

The rest of the old manifesto files were removed in r116308.

All manifesto.lang files are on production, all of them have the active tag set
http://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~pascalc/langchecker/?locale=all&website=0&file=mozorg/about/manifesto.lang
So, I think we're done here then. Thanks Pascal and pmac.
