[User Story] Notification UX update
Note: This bug will now be used for the future notification implementation. An interim solution will be put in place to avoid conflict with Rocketbar.
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #945938 +++ User Story: As a user, I want notifications to be relocated from their current location and the UX updated so as not to interfere with Rocketbar functionality and to ensure a useful notification experience that does not interfere with device/content navigation. Acceptance Criteria: 1. Functionality should match UX spec. 2. If I receive priority notifications (missed call, voice mail message or calendar event), it is visually distinguished from other notifications to make it more prominent

Are we still planning on doing this now that we have the new (MUCH nicer) utility tray?
Priority: -- → P2
Rob, what's the latest here? I suspect we'll put this on hold.

Good question. Since this document was produced, UX has been looking at future concepts including the overall spatial model and how notifications fit in. As a result, I propose we put this on hold subject to the outcome of the future themes work. Fortunately a lot of the ideas in this document have already been incorporated into 2.1... So we've already gone a long way in addressing the user story raised in the bug.
Unassigning myself, since it is no longer clear the scope of this bug and who will be working on it.
