This Meta ticket captures all of the things that need to happen in order to, and in parallel with a rollback to Kitsune. Why? Lithium lacks the support for the Accept Language Header, the issues this causes for users can be read about in bug 1324426. Approximately 6000 URLS were failing to direct to the correct locale. We tried to do a server-side redirect which we thought fixed a majority of those URLs, however, thanks to a Contributor, we have found that the short-term fix is not working, see Bug 356278. The rollback is scheduled for 7AM on April 19th.

We need to make sure that we don't break any of the links that were part Bug 1347365
:cpeterson, you are free to test. We have seen a user hit a 404 due to caching in 52.0.2. Other than that, this is test-ready. Any issues can be escalated via this bug. Thank you.

Update: we are seeing 404's with Lithium structured URls. Clearing the broswer cache is a workaround although it's not great. You can read more about this issue in Bug 1357563
