I've had several issues with these browser styles for my add-on (see https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/pull/97) and many are also already referenced, but I want to highlight bug 1466420 as it is a serious accessibility issue that makes the browser-style radios inaccessible to users of screen readers.

chrome_style
will be phased out in MV3 in Chrome - https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=973157
Since we have a host of issues with browser_style
in Firefox, we could do the same.

browser_style
is unsupported; I closed all open dependencies of this bug, and moved the remaining task (of deprecating browser_style
) to to bug 1827910.
