The text is in shaded boxes, the shaded background is printed white. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load page http://www.steeb.de/veranstaltungen/ftumstieg/ftumstieg_agenda.htm 2. Initiate printing with Print button or with Ctrl+P, all pages (default). Only first page is printed, saying 1/1. 3. Print the same page with old Netscape 4.73: all 3 pages are printed. Actual Results: Only first part of html document is printed. Expected Results: Other browsers produce 3 pages with total information of the html document By the way: In Netscape 4.73 was a menu File/Page Setup to adjust the margins of the printout to minimum, otherwise often information is cut off. Mozilla has not such menu any more.

This looks like a lot a of divs, a reduced testcase would be nice. setting to future until I get a testcase, reset to untargeted then.

I don't know if this one qualifies as a "reduced test case", but the problem is also present on the page http://www.osl.be/solution/outmgt2.htm . Only a single page is printed/previewed instead of 2. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826
A quick look shows a bunch of divs and tables, more thaan likely a core layout issue.

I took a page I was working on and stripped it down to a smaller version that duplicated the bug. All style information is included. Uncommenting the style line that removes absolute positioning causes it to print correctly. Looking at the supplied URL shows that it is also using absolute positioning of div tags. This bug appears to be identical to 75213.
This seems to be a DUP of Bug 149155.

When trying to print http://www.compusa.com (or any other pages in this site) it prints only one page. At bottom left of the of the print out it shows 1/1, while in IE it prints three pages and shows 1/3). Tested on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021022 Netscape/7.0+ using Win 98, Me, 2000 and XP.

This is still happening with 1.4a. I am getting reports of from users of our site on all platforms. You need not actually print the page, it shows up in the preview with the content flowing out of the bottom of the preview window.
Ah, right. Bug 154892 has still not been checked in... <sigh>.

I found a MOZILLA WorkAround!!!! (for #166836, most likely this one too) (now line-spacing is a bit jacked in IE6 - Use a browser detect & write) link a stylesheet for printing only. <link href="/common/NoPrint.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="print" /> In the stylesheet, redefine the <BODY> tag with: body{ white-space: pre; line-height: .5em; } Long Single Divs that wouldn't print all parts before should print all parts, and also, Multiple Divs that were split and printed on multiple pages, will now all print Inline.

This appears to be the same bug that affects http://www.mpshq.com/products_gasturbines.htm using 1.4 under Windows 2000 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624) I have also verified this bug in Mozilla 1.2.1 running on RedHat8 This is a three page document, but only first page gets printed or previewed. Content runs off the bottom of the page, and there are no other pages. Previews correctly in IE.
Dataloss; changing severity to "critical". Although there's no chance this will be fixed by 1.5, hopefully it will at least appear on the right person's radar.

A test page: http://www.mckinseyquarterly.com/article_print.asp?ar=1349&L2=16&L3=14&srid=17&gp=0 Firebird only prints first page. Print preview shows only first page.

http://www.mckinseyquarterly.com/article_print.asp?ar=1349&L2=16&L3=14&srid=17&gp=0 and http://www.steeb.de/veranstaltungen/ftumstieg/ftumstieg_agenda.htm have now disappeared. http://www.mpshq.com/products_gasturbines.htm still has a problem with non-printed lines that's a duplicate of the problem for which I reopened bug 159914 (which has a better testcase).
