We want to run a Shield study on Release to test the effect that changing flash as click-to-activate by default will have.
Besides just changing the CTA behavior, this test will also include/test the following new features:
- Favor fallback heuristics (bug 1282484)
- 1st-party/3rd-party allow/deny lists (bug 1307604)
The OKRs for this experiments are:
- (main goal) Fine tune the allow/deny lists to be appropriate for a release-wide audience
- (secondary) Check that the current UX is OK and understandable for users
The plan is to run this on 53 for 6 weeks, each week recruiting 5000 new users and updating the lists according to the data analysis from the prior week.
