Design tokens are gaining momentum and the collection is steadily growing in order to contain our full collection of reusable style decisions. At this point we should start strategizing the migration of variables in common-shared.css and global-shared.css into design tokens. No specific strategy so far, but logging this bug to get this documented, and we can add further details later as we focus on this task.
