User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 I updated the tab browser as it prompted me, and when I restarted firefox there is a 1" space just below the status bar that shows browser code: %tabprefsDTD; ^ It looks like someome forgot to close bracket some code, or a mistake was made in typing it out Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open the browser and look at the bottom of the browser 2. 3. Actual Results: Browser is not affected in a bad way...its just exposed code Expected Results: One should not see code exposed...should be hidden
http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/search?string=tabprefs That string doesn't occur in the Mozilla code base, so this is a problem with an extension.

It appears to be a lot of reports showing up for it to be an issue as described and I would say it's not in a resolved status?
(In reply to comment #14) > It appears to be a lot of reports showing up for it to be an issue as > described and I would say it's not in a resolved status? No. This is a problem with a faulty extension and needs to be fixed by the extension's developer. We can't do anything about it. Please see comment 1.
For anyone coming in from marked duplicates, please see http://216.55.161.203/theonekea/tabprefs/ for details on this issue.

I had this problem and clicked on the link of <a href="#c16">comment #16</a> and the advice led me to the Tab Browser preferences link. I re-insalled the extension like the page said, but only version 1.2.8.4 was available. So I installed it and the code was still not fixed, but you have to click on Tools> Extensions, the Extensions window will pop up; then click on Tab Browser preferences and click on Update and the latest version (1.2.8.5) will re-install and then all you have to do is close Firefox and re-open it. That fixed it for me. Hope this helps, (¯`·._.·§wo®d·._.·´¯)

I just hit this as well, due to the linky extension not playing nice with: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20050927 Firefox/1.4

I reported this bug as well. I found quick out that is was because i had uninstalled firefox 1.0.6 and instaled 1.0.7 over it without the extension of tabbroswer. When i instaled the tabbrowser again the problem was gone. Then: Make sure you got the last updated tabbbroser if you got the bug. (%tabprefsDTD;). It solved my problem at last. Simon
