[meta] Add screen/app/window sharing support
Meta bug for adding screen sharing support (as well as app and window sharing) in WebRTC
What's the status of this?
>What's the status of this? It's being worked on and the FIXED bugs this depends on are done. What do you specifically want to know?
clean up all dependencies - get rid of the Fx34 and Fx33 bugs - direct their dependents to this bug if anything actionable.
Priority: -- → P3
Whiteboard: [ReplacePlugins:P1] → [sharing] [ReplacePlugins:P1]
Scrubbed the dependency list so it's up to date. This tracks all open bugs against screensharing. Folks should attach new screen/app/window sharing bugs to this meta for tracking.
Hi guys, are you plan to add in dropdown select all screens available for share? Right now on Windows PC image from both screens (if 2 screens available) combined in one and shared, on Mac - second screen neither shared (combined with first, which shared) nor available for share in dropdown.
Siarhei: See bug 1037997
(In reply to Randell Jesup [:jesup] from comment #7) > Siarhei: See bug 1037997 Thanks, and wan't to ask: if it will be possible to let user select to share entire screen or app window in same request to user?
App sharing vs screen sharing is a separate gUM constraint. Try "Application" or "Window" on https://mozilla.github.io/webrtc-landing/gum_test.html,
