The localizer UX should get some focused attention, as described here:

What problems would this solve?

* Improving the experience for localizers will help us attract and retain great contributors, which directly supports a 2014 team goal.
* This will have the side effect of improving the quality of localized documentation.

Who would use this?

New and existing MDN contributors.

What would users see?

Localizers in the localization workflow would have a simpler, smoother experience.

What would users do? What would happen as a result?

More users would localize more documents with less mentoring and fewer mistakes.

Next steps on this: :groovecoder and :mars and I are going to have a quick LOE session so we can understand the relative costs of the L10n bugs tracked here. Then :teoli and :alispivak and I will meet late this week to shape the scope of this, possibly changing the mix of bugs.
