This is a tracking bug for bugs that drivers@mozilla.org consider important to the success of a Mozilla 1.0 Release Candidate 1. Please do not change the dependencies in this bug unless you are a driver. This is for RC1, not Mozilla 1.0 Final.
Depends on: 133794, 134560
Please consider adding bug 121230. RC1 without support for transparent png on windows would IMO suck.
Depends on: 121230
We need to make the timers not be random values between 0 and 2x the correct time
Depends on: 129953
Please consider bug 124999 for RC1. Animated Gifs are heavily used and this would make no good impression if we suck on that.
Depends on: 130079
I nominate bug 3935. It involves Mozilla-specific-CSS syntax changes, and so has the potential to break themes and things. I'm attaching a patch to fix at least part of it very soon. Gerv
Depends on: 134317
Nominating bug 135242. This bug seriously interferes with Windows 98. pi
Depends on: 129420
Depends on: 133666
adding critical topcrashers to the list for RC1
Depends on: 118014, 120594, 131060, 133669, 133857
Depends on: 59078
bug 124999 (nominated here) was duped against bug 86319.
Bug 134771 is worthy of consideration for making RC1 not suck. It appears that we're losing the URL information when a redirect happens, and so not accepting cookies properly, and causing some e-banking sites to malfunction (and probably quite a few others if they set the 'don't accept cookies from other sites' pref.
Man, evil dyslexia. I mean bug 134203.
Please consider: bug 133351, bug 127634, bug 114606, bug 92380 (have you accidentally deleted an entire bookmark *folder* lately? I have!), bug 91662 (very visible bug), bug 73712 (we need icons, man), bug 62586 (what was that subject?), bug 56052 (long neglected, but much *voted* for), bug 46227 (editing nuissance), bug 32157 (probably the biggest UI *blooper* in mozilla), bug 22687 (e-mail "security", pie-in-the-sky?).
Depends on: 135222
I'd like to nominate bug 125106. It is a worst bug for Japanese Win users because Mozilla installer creates undeletable folders. Plese fix it until 1.0 RC1.
I'd like to nominate bug 133764. This bug 1) has a very simple patch (has r= already) 2) will be a problem when more localised builds get available (this _will_ happen with RC1), because many people try to change content + langauge pack at once, which are often delivered together by L10n people (like me).
As mentioned by Hideo-san, bug 125106 is a critical issue. When 0.9.9 was released with this bug, sadly, some IT related sources (e.g. ZDnet or CNET) posted negative ariticles and some end-users blamed their irrelevant problems on Mozilla. If RC1 is released with it, this mood, I mean "Mozilla is not reliable" can gain among lots of end-users for a time being. If this bug is fixed, we can involve more people toward 1.0.
Please consider adding bug 129420. mailto proxies do not work AT ALL if you are using a Proxy Auto Config (PAC) file. Many large corporations require their users to use PAC, and so for all these people, mailto links are 100% busted.
re comment 14 - I meant to say "mailto LINKS do not work at all..."

> DO NOT NOMINATE BUGS HERE OR OTHERWISE SPAM US OK. Then could you please provide an alternative avenue for us to bring important bugs to your attention (a specific newsgroup perhaps)?

What about bug 133250? For QA's sake, it'd be nice to have this squashed before RC1, as opposed to 1.0, comes out (or else we'll have a dozen dups pouring in daily).
I'd like to nominate bugs 77104,32218,102972,109565,78821,103530,105698,127842,137067,132242,135250,135331,137067,133250. Please consider adding some or all these bugs to the list. Thanks.
I would like to nominate bug 91662 ("Long strings in mail header cause scroll bars and attachment window to disappear, making message unviewable."). TIA for considering it.
Depends on: 121583
I would like to nominate bug 137551 the just downgraded linux smoketest blocker which is also present in the branch.
I would like to nominate bug 120155 This one is driving me crazy and it's hard to tell anyone to use mozilla as long as this bug is still here
As I understand it, this bug is a tracking bug for the drivers to use to keep track of whatever they're keeping track of, and we get to watch. It is not a general forum for airing "I think bug x is important", (unless you are a driver). That's what votes are for (or patches, if you are a developer). If I've misunderstood, Asa or one of the other drivers will correct me. Otherwise, please, let the drivers do their job.

Nathan: Compare comment #16 and the change in Status Whiteboard it triggered (comparing time stamps).
I think, bug 32571 and bug 103452 should be placed here.

please consider bug 133351. otherwise almost everyone on all OS would think even bookmarks dont work
Sorry of previous duplicate. And my personal entreaty - bug 47475. This is really annoing on several sites such as http://www.apple.com/ when option "Accept images from originating server only" is enabled. I use Mozilla as default browser already more than half-year, and this bug heads "charts" of my wishes to Mozilla ;)

This bug seems to be fixed now.. :-)
Seems not to be fixed at all! According to the dependencies (bug 121583, bug 129953 and bug 137079 are *not* fixed right now) one even could assume that RC1 indeed sucks...
#31 By that logic, 0.9.5 and up really have to suck. There are still unresolved dependencies in the 0.9.5 not suck bug: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/showdependencytree.cgi?id=101793
RC1 is done.
